Spreading Warmth and Compassion – AIM Foundation’s Winter Relief Drive in Salboni

Winter brings comfort and joy to many, but for thousands living in poverty, it becomes a season of struggle and hardship. Recognizing this pressing need, AIM Foundation, in collaboration with Muthoot Finance, took a compassionate step to make a real difference.

On the chilly morning of January 1st, 2022, the two organizations came together at Bagh Basha Football Ground in the Salboni Block of West Midnapore, West Bengal. The goal was simple yet powerful: to provide warmth and relief to those most vulnerable during the harsh winter season. Over 1000 blankets were distributed among tribal residents, offering them not just protection from the cold but also a sense of care and dignity.

This initiative was more than just a distribution drive—it was a heartfelt message of solidarity with communities often forgotten during difficult times. By reaching out to tribal populations living in remote areas, AIM Foundation reinforced its commitment to inclusive and equitable support for all.

Volunteers and team members worked with dedication to ensure the blankets reached those who needed them the most. The event also created a platform for meaningful engagement, where the warmth extended was not just physical but emotional as well.

Forest Cleaning Drive from Murti to Chandrachur – A Step Towards a Greener Tomorrow

On January 11, 2021, AIM Foundation, in collaboration with Abasar and the West Bengal Forest Department, launched the “Clean Murti to Chandrachur” campaign—a 5 km forest cleaning drive through the heart of Gorumara National Park in the Himalayan foothills of West Bengal. Home to the majestic Indian rhinoceros and diverse wildlife, Gorumara is one of India’s most treasured national parks. However, as tourism grows, so do the challenges. Littering and careless human behavior threaten the delicate balance of this ecosystem.
