Empowering Young Minds Through Art: Shruti Natak Performance by AIM Foundation

Art has the unique power to inspire, heal, and uplift—and at AIM Foundation, we believe in using this power to shape young lives. One such initiative that beautifully demonstrated this belief was a recent Shruti Natak (audio drama) performance at the prestigious Jeevananda Sabhagriha Cultural Centre. This special event featured young boys from AIM Foundation, who stepped into the spotlight under the inspiring guidance of noted cultural mentor Mrs. Sutapa Mukhopadhyay.

The boys, many from underprivileged backgrounds, were given a platform not only to showcase their talent but to grow in confidence, creativity, and communication. Through weeks of preparation, script practice, and voice modulation training, the children experienced the magic of storytelling in a new and exciting format. For many of them, this was their first time performing on stage—an unforgettable moment of pride and achievement.

Forest Cleaning Drive from Murti to Chandrachur – A Step Towards a Greener Tomorrow

On January 11, 2021, AIM Foundation, in collaboration with Abasar and the West Bengal Forest Department, launched the “Clean Murti to Chandrachur” campaign—a 5 km forest cleaning drive through the heart of Gorumara National Park in the Himalayan foothills of West Bengal. Home to the majestic Indian rhinoceros and diverse wildlife, Gorumara is one of India’s most treasured national parks. However, as tourism grows, so do the challenges. Littering and careless human behavior threaten the delicate balance of this ecosystem. Discarded plastics and waste not only mar the natural beauty of the park but also endanger animal life and increase the risk of forest fires.
