Colors of Compassion – An Evening of Art with Enactus St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata

At AIM Foundation, we believe that creativity can be a powerful tool for connection, healing, and joy. This belief came to life during a beautiful evening of hand painting, creativity, and compassion, made even more special by the enthusiastic participation of the incredible students from Enactus St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata.

The event was more than just an art activity—it was an experience of togetherness, expression, and mutual learning. Children and students joined hands, literally and figuratively, as they painted colorful patterns, shared stories, and explored the joy of creating something meaningful together.

The students from Enactus brought with them not just paint and brushes, but also an abundance of warmth, kindness, and enthusiasm. Their energy lit up the space, and their willingness to engage with the children on such a personal level was truly heartwarming. It was a powerful reminder that sometimes the simplest activities can create the most lasting impact.

For the children, it was an evening of fun, laughter, and self-expression. For the students, it was a chance to connect beyond the classroom, gain perspective, and be part of something deeply human and impactful.

AIM Foundation is deeply grateful to Enactus St. Xavier’s College for their continued commitment to social good. This collaboration brought smiles to many faces and painted hope in the hearts of young minds.

As we washed off the paint at the end of the evening, we carried home something far more permanent—memories, connections, and the colors of compassion.

Forest Cleaning Drive from Murti to Chandrachur – A Step Towards a Greener Tomorrow

On January 11, 2021, AIM Foundation, in collaboration with Abasar and the West Bengal Forest Department, launched the “Clean Murti to Chandrachur” campaign—a 5 km forest cleaning drive through the heart of Gorumara National Park in the Himalayan foothills of West Bengal. Home to the majestic Indian rhinoceros and diverse wildlife, Gorumara is one of India’s most treasured national parks. However, as tourism grows, so do the challenges. Littering and careless human behavior threaten the delicate balance of this ecosystem. Discarded plastics and waste not only mar the natural beauty of the park but also endanger animal life and increase the risk of forest fires. The campaign aimed to combat this growing issue by cleaning the stretch from Murti to the Chandrachur Watchtower, a scenic route often traveled by tourists.
