Celebrating Festive Kindness – T-Shirt Distribution for Hazra Community Children During Durga Puja

Durga Puja is a time of celebration, joy, and togetherness—a festival that brings light into our lives and reminds us of the power of giving. This year, AIM Foundation had the immense joy of spreading that light a little further by organizing a special T-shirt distribution event for 100 children from the Hazra community.

The event was made possible through the heartfelt generosity of Mr. Mrinmoy Bhattacharjee and Dr. Ghosh, who kindly donated brand new T-shirts to mark the occasion. Their thoughtful gesture brought smiles and festive cheer to many young faces, making this Durga Puja even more meaningful for those who need it the most.

The distribution took place at Sarala Punyashram, a setting filled with warmth, laughter, and celebration. As the children received their gifts, the joy in their eyes reflected the true spirit of the festival—a spirit of compassion, inclusion, and shared happiness. For many of them, it was more than just a new piece of clothing; it was a token of care and recognition.

Forest Cleaning Drive from Murti to Chandrachur – A Step Towards a Greener Tomorrow

On January 11, 2021, AIM Foundation, in collaboration with Abasar and the West Bengal Forest Department, launched the “Clean Murti to Chandrachur” campaign—a 5 km forest cleaning drive through the heart of Gorumara National Park in the Himalayan foothills of West Bengal. Home to the majestic Indian rhinoceros and diverse wildlife, Gorumara is one of India’s most treasured national parks. However, as tourism grows, so do the challenges. Littering and careless human behavior threaten the delicate balance of this ecosystem. Discarded plastics and waste not only mar the natural beauty of the park but also endanger animal life and increase the risk of forest fires.
