AIM Foundation has stepped into this void, offering compassion, care, and concrete solutions for those often left behind.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, as the city shut down and livelihoods vanished, AIM launched rapid response initiatives—distributing food, hygiene supplies, and medical aid to displaced individuals. What began as emergency relief has evolved into a long-term commitment to rebuilding lives.

Today, AIM Foundation’s mobile health units provide free checkups and medicines to underprivileged communities living under flyovers and along pavements. These clinics also raise awareness about hygiene, nutrition, and preventive care—often a person’s first-ever encounter with basic healthcare.

Legal identity is another gateway to stability. AIM’s social workers assist migrants in obtaining Aadhaar, ration cards, and voter IDs—essential for accessing welfare programs and employment.

Children, too, find a lifeline through AIM’s evening learning centers and mobile classrooms. These joyful, inclusive spaces nurture early education and life skills, helping bridge the gap to formal schooling.

AIM’s transitional shelters offer more than a roof. Families receive counseling, vocational guidance, and legal support as they prepare to reintegrate into society with renewed dignity and purpose.

Forest Cleaning Drive from Murti to Chandrachur – A Step Towards a Greener Tomorrow

On January 11, 2021, AIM Foundation, in collaboration with Abasar and the West Bengal Forest Department, launched the “Clean Murti to Chandrachur” campaign—a 5 km forest cleaning drive through the heart of Gorumara National Park in the Himalayan foothills of West Bengal. Home to the majestic Indian rhinoceros and diverse wildlife, Gorumara is one of India’s most treasured national parks. However, as tourism grows, so do the challenges. Littering and careless human behavior threaten the delicate balance of this ecosystem. Discarded plastics and waste not only mar the natural beauty of the park but also endanger animal life and increase the risk of forest fires.
